How To Uninstall / Remove APUS Launcher in Android ?

APUS Launcher holds the top position among Android third party launchers. Along with the Icon pack support it has built with some handy and useful features including APUS Mobile Search, APUS Radar, Smart Folder, Priority Apps, APUS Boost, etc.

Recently I tried APUS Launcher in my GS3 but, it wouldn't help me to keep using it even the mentioned features are available. When I try to uninstall the APUS Launcher It couldn't. In app manager Uninstall button was disabled. Then I noticed that I was activated the APUS in device administrators list to enable double tap screen lock. So deactivating the same will do the trick.

Follow the complete steps below.

Deactivate Apus Launcher in Device administrators


1. Go to Setting -> Security -> Device administrators
2. Tap on APUS and click Deactivate.
Or
1. Go to Setting -> Privacy -> Device administration -> Device administrators
2. Tap on APUS and click Deactivate.



Uninstall Apus Launcher


1. Go to Application Manager
2. Click on Apus Icon
3. In Apus App info page tap Clear defaults.
4. Finally, Tap on Uninstall

That's it.

      Uninstall any app related to APUS... Like APUS Message Center-SMS,notify. Then try again.

      first go in application manager
      then stop the running APUS app
      then choose the default launcher
      and finally uninstall APUS

      I uninstalled apus launcher from my Genfone pro m1 by way of going to settings>all apps>downloaded apps from playstore>list of downloaded apps where I found Apus, clicked Apus and opened with option Uninstall where I clicked and successful.

      First change the default launcher to another one then follow the instruction.

    Same problem with me. It's install without my permission. After install i am getting many ads my mobile and phone hanged, there has no option to uninstalled or to disable this app. I have Format and reset my phone 3 time and still it's not uninstalled. A spam APUS App. Totally Spam and Waste.

      If the app not removed even after the reset.. Then it may be virus. reflashing the firmware will solve the issue.

      How to reflash the firmware? I have already restore it to factory setting and reformatted my memory card but still shows multiple ads on my phone. After that it will install automatically without my permission. Thanks.

    Tried all the above... But, in apps there is force stop and disable option only.. There is no uninstall option... Apus is a spam...

    Don't download any applauncher don't software

    I downloaded several Uninstallers and i was told I need to root the phone to remove this trash. It s trojan adware that takes control of the phone and now I have Dozens of apps I never downloaded. Help!

    Apus sucks it wont go aeay along with du battery .i want it gone. it keeps asking to install and interupting my other activites on my phone. Make it stop or my phone is going into a fire or a wall at light speed. Pissibg me off severly.

    I FOUND A WAY TO UNISTALL THIS APUS.
    JUST DOWNLOAD Avast Mobile Security.
    Go to Tools > Apps Permision > Click the App you want to unistall > click on UNISTALL.
