Turn Off Motorola Photon Camera Shutter Sound Without Root

When we take picture with Motorola Photon 4G it makes a very loud shutter sound. It occurs even if the phone is in silent mode. motojl123 wrote an app called "Enforced Stream Silencer" to fix this issue and many Motorola Photon 4G users found this working. Download and install the application and share your feedback here.

  18. Awesome! Mine "didn't work" at first either, but I had to go into the downloaded apps folder and turn it on. Maybe the folks who say it doesn't work should give that a shot and see if it helps!

Anyway, thanks a lot. Now I can take undercover pics of people doing stupid things without the shutter sound giving me away!

  36. don't think this works since the update :( i just tried installing it, and even with enforce silent stream "disabled," it still makes the loud, pain in the butt shuttering sound... You'd think with spending 200 dollars on this phone you would get "silent" with the "silent" option...

  42. How do you enable the app to work? I've downloaded it multiple times and its never worked for me. I would download it, then wait a couple minutes and test it. And the shutter was still on. I don't know what I'm doing wrong or if it just won't work.
